Born June 29, 1977 Malden Ma.

Graduate B.F.U.H.S Class of 1996

Entered St John's Seminary College Fall of '96

Graduated from St. John's/Boston College 2001
(Major: philosophy Minor: Jewish/Christian Relations)

While in Boston assisted at St. Columbkille Parish Brighton,
Boston Childrens Hospital, and Immaculate Conception Parish, Malden

Entered Mt. St Mary Seminary Aug 2001

Recieved Ministry of Lector April 2002- by Bishop Bruskewitz

Recieved Ministry of Acolyte May 2003- by Bishop Boland

Ordained to the "Transitional Deaconate" in May 2004.

Has assisted at St. Joseph Parish York, South Mountian Restoration Center,
and served as Chaplain to the Mount St. Mary College Baseball team.

In the Diocese of Burlington, he spent several summers working at Camp Holy Cross in Colchester and spent summers at assignments aroung the diocese. He also served as a chaperone for World Youth Day in Toronto. He continues to engage the youth of Vermont in activities and events to teach them & encourage them to live their faith.

Rich planned and facilitated multiple youth retreats at his home parish of Saint Charles, and in the many other parishes he has been associated with. Rich has been a role model of "Catholic Committment" to our youth, and an inspiration to all, young and old!

FATHER O'DONNELL was Ordained to the
Priesthood June 4, 2005 by Bishop Matano.

Father O'Donnell's first parish assignment following ordination was
"parochial vicar" of Saint John the Evangelist Parish in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.

Father O'Donnell will became the administrator
of Saint John the Baptist Parish in Enosburg Falls, Vermont, effective July 2, 2007!
