K of C Hall above the Chittenden Bank
"on the Square".

GRAND KNIGHT ~ WAYNE ROUNDS

Christopher Sines is the 2007 Knight of the Year for Saint Charles Council. At age 23, he has already been a 4th Degree member for 4 years! Chris is a member of the color guard and the honor guard. Chris is currently persuing a college degree, and hopes to further his studies in THEOLOGY. Chris has been involved in many aspects of the council's activities, including fund raising, placing the "Keep Christ in Christmas" signs at area churches, and Tootsie Roll sales. Chris also serves his parish as an altar server, Eucharistic Minister, and 5th grade Catechism Teacher! Chris serves his community by being a
member of the Bellows Falls Fire Department.

in recognition of your dedication to the K of C!

The portrait at the right shows Father Edward Reynolds, resident pastor of Saint Charles Parish at the time of the building of Saint Charles Church (see parish history page). It was presented to Father Lance Harlow, current pastor of Saint Charles in December, 2006. The portrait is a reproduction of a portrait in the K of C Hall. It was presented to Father Lance as a gift to the parish, by Grand Knight David Sines. The beautifully framed portrait includes as engraved plaque identifying Father Reynolds.
The portrait not hangs in the
vestibule of Saint Charles Church above the trowel used to lay the cornerstone of the church in 1884, under Father Reynolds.
