In the event of snow or ice causing hazardous driving, classes will be cancelled. You will be notified by your child's religious education teacher if class is cancelled. Cancellation of the morning session does not automactically mean evening classes will be cancelled. Cancellation information will also be posted on our parish website… www.stcharles-church.org
Please Note:
For the protection of all children, Diocesan Policy states: "Church personnel are responsible for the releasing minors in their care only to parents, legal guardians, or other persons designated by parents or legal guardians at the close of the services or activities". If your Child will be riding with someone other than a parent or legal guardian, please be sure to write a note for your child's teacher, stating whom your child will be riding with. This applies to ALL grades!

Fr. Harlow gave an informational "tour" of Saint Charles Church, explaining many of the religious statues & the names of the various parts of the church. Father then gathered the students on the altar, where he explained the holiness of the altar area (Sanctuary), the Tabernacle, the various vestments worn for celebrating Mass,
and the holy items used during the Consecration during Mass.

I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occassion of sin. Amen. |
| Students in grades 7, 8 & 9 participated in a project that required them to write down a character trait about themselves that they wanted to keep, AND, something they needed to "GET RID OF". Students then burned their papers that contained what they were getting rid of! They did a great job with this activity. |
